CRESSI AC2 Din First Stage Regulator.
CRESSI AC2 first stage works with a simple piston, an economical and affordable, simple, reliable and robust suitable for intensive usage. It’s a Preferred first stage by diving centers as it is consider it to be a very effective for rental because of its low cost, hardwork and almost inexistent need of maintenance, as well as a surprising level of performance.
Conical filter with high filtering capacity, essential to avoid the entrance of particles from bottles. This feature is especially important for regulators in dive schools and rental.
Flow of air supplied 2100 l/min with an intermediate pressure drop in intensive breathing (150 bar) 0.5-0.8 bar (measurements made in a LP output with the second stage connected and a pressure of 150 bar in the Tank).
Exterior LP regulation by Allen Key, which make revision management and technical services maintenance very easy and efficient.
One 7/16” high pressure port (HP) and four 3/8” low pressure ports (LP).
Complete maintenance kit which includes very affordable spare parts.

New Extremely simple and less complicated single shell second stage made from ABS and elastomer, compact small size (6 cm in diameter), Very light weight (145 g). Its mechanism and development are perfectly planned to obtain the minimum number of components and very strong.
It is a smart buy due to its combination of performance, reliability, price and cost of maintenance.
It is perfect for uses requiring maximum reliability and ideal as a travel regulator, given its lightness combined with the first stage MC5.

It is also perfect for rental in diving centers, as a work regulator with AC2, and as an addition to the high range MC9.
The specific calibration of the inhalation mechanism slightly changes the air delivery as compared to the Ellipse series; the feel and sensitivity of these models is exquisite, with an abundant flow without needing to exploit the Venturi effect.
This feature provides a limited tendency to free flow on the surface and when positioning the equipment in the water, ideal for schools and rentals, octopus and double regulator.
However, the results of the features place it beyond regulators of highest range.
Asymmetrical perforation in the front cap. The water flow starts to push the diaphragm anti-clockwise so that its retraction is perfectly flat and the cam progressively descends perpendicularly, independent of conditions (currents, brisk movements, facial position, etc.).
Exhalation effort particularly reduced without the need to minimize the thickness of the diaphragm. The design of the membrane retention system directs the 100% channeled flow towards the nozzles of the bow, taking advantage of a strong Venturi effect.
Also, it works to direct the bubbles away from the diver’s field of vision.
